Wooden what's it? it looks like something which is supposed to go over a doorway, so that's where i put it...

i got this old carving along w/ those beautifully carved old chairs and bench. this has been conserved fairly well w/ supports on the back. i have no idea what it is nor where it's from - although i suspect mexico or the southwest. would love to hear other people's opinons.
