When I first started placing items on this site, I put multiple pics up on the same page and only showed one pic of each basket. I wanted to do some over so I could add more detailed pictures of them. Hope nobody minds.
This is a Hopi Wicker Basket from the Third Mesa. It is made of coiled Willow Wood and Sumac for the weaving. This one was made around 1920 or so. The basket is 10 inches in diameter and has many colors that are still very vibrant, although the back part is more so. There is no damage that I can find on it. Enjoy the better detailed pictures.
