When I first started placing items on this site, I put multiple pics up on the same page and only showed one pic of each basket. I wanted to do some over so I could add more detailed pictures of them. Hope nobody minds.
This is a Hopi coiled Kachina Basket, made around 1900 or so. It was made with coiled Yucca. It has 4 different faces going around it with other designs above and below. It is about 12 inches in height and about 7 inches in diameter. The colors are great on this oldie, and no damage to the rim or sides. It does have a bit of damage on the bottom but that happens to these with time. Enjoy the better detailed pictures.
