When I first started placing items on this site, I put multiple pics up on the same page and only showed one pic of each basket. I wanted to do some over so I could add more detailed pictures of them. Hope nobody minds.
Here is another Makah basket I have, this one is about 4 1/2 inches in diameter and about 3 inches high. The colors on this one are great and there is no damage at all to it. Alot of these have whales or ducks or people in boats, but I like the ones with just designs on them as they are usually older. This one was probably made between 1890 and 1910. Made of Cedar, Cattail leaves and Sea grass.

I think it is a keeper too, I never sell them. I just collect....my apartment is getting full to overflowing and I am running out of places to put things. I keep telling myself that I need to stop getting more baskets but then I see another one I "just have to have"...lol
