When I first started placing items on this site, I put multiple pics up on the same page and only showed one pic of each basket. I wanted to do some over so I could add more detailed pictures of them. Hope nobody minds.
This is a "Old Pit River" basket I have in my collection. It does have some damage at the top rim but it is still great. It is a pedestal basket and was made around 1920. Made from Willow, Bear Grass and Pine Root, this basket stands about 6 inches high and the bowl is about 5 inches around. Really nice, enjoy the pics.
