This small basket was made by the Seminole Tribe in Florida, about 1930. It was made using Wild Sweet Grass and Palm fronds that were split to weave with. It is natural, red and yellow in color and is beautiful. It is about 4 inches in diameter and almost 4 inches high. There is some of the weave coming up on the little part that you would lift the lid with. I usually never take the lid off, I just did to take the picture. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
