Please help identify this chair. It is wrought iron and folds up. The leather has a deep red hue. The feet are brass knobs. You can also see a brass hue in other areas. Weighs at least 10lbs. I know it needs some work. Any ideas on that also would help.
I found it at a garage sale but they did not know anything about it. Just wanted to junk it. For some reason i feel in love with it.
Any help would be appreciated

Will do. Thanks
It looks like a military campaign chair. I have one very similar, which I've been researching (to no avail) for about five years. The clear similarities are that mine is wrought iron and leather, and it disassembles with brass connectors. Mine is Spanish and has Spanish coins welded to the front and back dated 1877. DON'T CLEAN IT WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN A DAMP CLOTH! Try to repair the seat enough to make it look "sittable", but DON'T LET ANYONE SIT IN IT! ;)
This is for Oldeen12! I am a new member here as I was looking up spanish iron directors chairs! I have a matched pair of the chair you've posted but looks like someone stripped some of the good parts off yours! If you'd ever like a pic or how your chair should look, contact me, please! One of mine has the seat leather just hanging, like yours! I'm looking for someone to repair and/or redo my leather!!! A dear friend just gave me these chairs and she got them over 40 years ago in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. So, they are at least that old.
I'm not sure how to post a pic of the chairs on here!!!
