I recently aquired this neat old oil pump at an estate sale. I buy quite a bit of old gas & oil advertising- and have never seen one of these. it has a folding lid, almost resembles a large domed galvanized trash can. on the front side, atop the old red paint kendall refinery co Bradford pa is stenciled, also has stenciling atop the flip lid. Features a handle on each side for carrying. I believe this is a type of oil drum? Possibly from an early refinery? It has the pump present atop the spout, and telescopes down to act as a pump. few minor dents, bottom is solid- made of galvanized metal. Any ideas on what exactly this is? Was wondering if there would be a good collectors interest in an item like this and if so any idea of a value? Thanks a bunch!

yes it's a fair piece, the size hurts it most, the stencil is the best part. Most were used in hardware stores and such to dispense oil for lanterns(even kerosene),linseed oil,and other odd types of oils
