This old double-sided porcelain sign was discovered up in the small mountain town of Yarnell, Arizona partially buried under a dirt pile. That likely accounts for it's much less than pristene condition; all bent up, rusted, and damaged porcelain. It had to be pressure-washed to even look this good. I have a soft spot for this sort of thing though because back in my engineering days, we counted various phone companies among our best clients.
