I really enjoy looking through old magazines - American as well as from other countries. I have a LOT of them - some really cool ones like early architecture magazines, the first edition of Conde-Nast Traveller magazine, lots of art/design magazines, etc... here's some photos i took of a 1930 edition of a german magazine called 'Innendecoraation'. i think these images and many others show how revolutionary pre-war germany was in the arts. i've always loved bauhaus stuff and would love to collect more - if it weren't all so expensive. but magazines are a great source for vintage design inspiration which is affordable.
