Found this mint condition daisy wall art garage saling. Paid $10 for it! It's signed "Russell", but can't seem to find any info on it. It's also not a painting....it's almost like plaster was used as a medium then it was painted over......Any info. would help. Thanks

This is lovely....:-)
Looks like mid to late 1960s to me. Very fun!
Great colors...I've seen this style of art before but no idea how to do it. Heavy?
How is that Jerry Johnson chair coming along?
Hope you are doing well!
Are you sure it was painted over or are the colors actually in the medium?
If the latter is the case, perhaps it is encaustic?
Thanks Stef!
thanks inky!
Hey Amber. I've finished the frame of the chair and ordered some natural black and white cowhide leather. should be here next week. Then it just needs cut and sewn together. should look amazing!!!
hi Mawama,
It's not encaustic and was definitely painted or has a glaze over it. It really looks more like a glaze than paint. I've seen a picture made from the same medium all chipped up, swear it's like a plaster or a chalk type of material..
Cool! Can't wait to see it.
