Our "Chicago - Century of Progress" World's Fair collection added a new member this week. We were able to add an elusive "1933" badged Singer Model 15-91 (Pic #1) to our group that includes Singers' Model 66 (pic #2), 99 (Pic #3), & 221 Featherweight (Pic #4). The latter three are badged "1934".
Singer had placed their exhibit in the "Electrical Building" along with other manufacturers showcasing their newest "Electrical" appliances for the home. (Singer's exhibit also included vacuums & irons)
Singer machines exhibited and sold at the Fair have "special" badges and are very rare & scarce today.
We are very excited to add this gem to the group!
