    Looks like it was adapted to crank handle. Could not have been easy to use,but surley was not going to throw it away.

      Not sure about being adapted. These were made by a couple different companies and came new with a crank. There were also treadle versions. Needless to say they didn't go over big. This is a really nice find, did you happen to get the original blade? On a slow day you should be able to get a few hundred for it. Is it by chance marked??
