This cyclometer came from the Seattle Goodwill store, I won it at an eBay auction a few months back. This clycometer is named "New Yorker" it is the second time Lawson used the Name (see style #940). The cyclometer was designed by Paul Feher.
The case was in sorry shape from too much polishing over the years, it was so nasty that I couldn't look at it (see fourth picture). You could scrape the goo with your finger nail. The polish had caked over the case so bad, I took some Brasso to it and removed it, the case is more presentable now, but still has some mottling from the polish that had been used on it. It did not have any patina, except polish residue. If the residue was the patina, I am glad it is gone.
The clock is quiet and keeps excellent time, it doesn't even growl at me when I turn it on it's side or upside down.
