This is an original stone lithograph of Newmann The Great from my private collection of Magic Posters dated 1920. It is a 1/2 sheet measuring approximately 20" x 28" in A+ condition and depicts a rich three-color portrait of Newmann with a devil perched on his shoulder whispering in his ear. St. Paul, Standard Litho.
Newmann was primarily a mentalist who specialized in unusual, high class mental presentations, although he also presented a few illusions such as the Levitation, The Spirit Paintings, and similar effects, in connection with his regular program. However, for over 35 years his program was composed only of Hypnotic and Mind Reading effects. Newmann continuously performed before the public from 1896 until his death in 1952.
