This is an American made Hard Plastic head . It was most likely on a rubber Body and those bodies did not hold up . They melted and turned dark colored and cracked as rubber dried and limbs broke off or became very disfigured . Sun Rubber doll or anyone of a number of companies hard to know for sure with no markings on head .She dates from early 1950's . Photo with not being able to touch head to see if it is hard rubber or hard plastic is not clear enough for me . Do you see a seam down side of head ? She is Not bisque nor is she German

It's hard to tell from the photos, but I agree with Manikin. It looks like hard rubber to me, especially the patina. Rubber often warped, and the face (eyes) look slightly warped to me. I also agree on the age.

Thanks Stef I always love it when you reinforce my thoughts on unmarked dolls it helps to have two heads work on it . The photo looks to fuzzy for me to tell I wish I could reach into PC and touch some of these :-) I don't see a seam so most likely hard rubber . Hope all is well by you , fighting a heat wave here :-(
