These are also all mint or near mint. From the 1970's and up. Steam engines and most passenger cars are made of metal. Engines are quite heavy. Marklin is German and has been around for many years. Their toy trains rate among the best in the world. In the 1970's Marklin came up with digital chips for the engines, switches and some passenger cars. That system allowed me to run up to 80 trains at once with only two wires to the tracks. Each engine is coded and will do as programed, quite amazing for the 1970s. The improvements since are simply amazing.
