Could you tell us how large it is? Also, are there any markings of any kind on the blade or anywhere else?

The Dagger is seven and a quarter inch's in length. And any Identifying mark's on it have ben worn away. The handle seem's to be bone and or Ivory. And on the end of the Handle there apear's to be a clam shell.

So you've looked it over really good and can't find anything at all? That's a shame..sometimes even the tiniest hint of a mark, number or letter that you find with a jewelers loupe/magnifier can help the people on here with a good knowledge of this type of item. Perhaps if you would delete one of your pictures and add one in it's place of the "shell", that might give someone something to go on to help you out. I hope you get some information or help from someone!

Well well.. Jason.. I see you've taken some time off from your new foray into the profession of art thievery to check out some new show and tell items! ;-) I was hoping you or some of the others I've seen around the knives and such would stop by and look at this. I thought it was interesting and figured some of you would have some ideas about it. I know less than nothing about knives, daggers, swords and such but just the form and design seemed like it might be worth a look by someone such as yourself.
