I BOUGHT THIS GREAT VICTORIAN FOOTSTOOL AT AN ANTIQUE AUCTION IN PORTLAND, OREGON WHILE VISITING MY SISTER/ ANTIQUE HUNTING TRIP BACK IN THE 1980'S. I WAS BEING OUTBID BY SEVERAL LOCAL ANTIQUE DEALERS, BUT MANAGED TO SNAG IT FOR 25.00 MORE THAN THEY WERE WILLING TO GO. IT IS LARGE, STURDY WITH SCROLL LEGS. FITS IN WITH ANY DECOR/ROOM. ALWAYS RECEIVE COMPLIMENTS. STILL HAS ORIGINAL HORSEHAIR PADDING!
