This unidentified bear is part of my collection. He is about 18" tall and has cotton stuffing. He's dressed in a little sailor hat and collar. The shoes are kidskin. He has been so well loved, that the fabric has given way around the joints. As you can see, they are made of wood. Any idea who or when this was made? I am pretty sure he's not a steiff; bue i am no expert.
Thanks!
Nancy

I would need to see hands and feet or should I says paws . Also he needs to be nude and I need a side profile showing his back . If you provide those photo's it would be only way to id him .
Are those shoes real baby shoes put on the bear? He's adorable. I love him!
Thanks, Manikin!
I have taken more pictures and am posting right now to a new unsolved mystery (Well Loved Bear II)
Thanks, Stefdesign!

Oh, I love this little bear!!! Most charming!
OK - Manikin, I have taken more pictures and am posting to Well Loved Bear IV. I can not find evidence of a hold in his ear. I also cannot see any "toe" stitching. His ears seem to be lined in coarse flannel.
