Here's another toy gun from our collection. I bought this one at a local flea-market about 2 years ago. It's a Newell Airfire sub-machine gun, model No. 1008, that shoots ping-pong balls. We were lucky enough to get this one with what is left of the original box. The box will also fold out to serve as a mini target stand with point rated open slots. These were made in Lowell, MI, I'm guessing about in the 1950's? It's fun & actually fires off the ping-pong balls with quite a bit of power. You just load a ball, and work the sliding pump-action to pressurize & fire in one motion.
