This is from a 100+ year old farmhouse in Michigan. It was over a doorway near a window. It's about 5' long. The green beads look to be old glass with some bubbles but the brown beads appear to be rolled birch or aspen bark? Any ideas from anyone would be appreciated. Is it Indian? Is it Victorian, tramp art, folk art? Anyone seen anything like this before? The main bar appears to also be a very straight branch with white paper bark. In my hand are pieces that fell off with the paper bark still on. Looking to sell it but need some more facts (or educated guesses) first. Thanks!
