Recently purchased an entire collection of vintage toy gun holsters, likely from the '40's-50's. These have many applied details, and would never pass any type of modern standards on children's toys for safety, but they sure are cool looking!!!

Now all you need it some cap pistols and you'll have all the kids in the neighborhood wanting to play "Cowboys". Thanks for sharing these, they're great.
Thank-you bellin &kerry, & you're right kerry, they would!
YeeeeHaaaw! I love'em Bernie! These are really something and speak to the period of time when the world was a little simpler.
Thanks Perry, I love the detail and effort that went into making them!
Bernie, don't know if you know, but I believe the MFG of photos #1 and 4 are "Pony Boy" if you go to a garage sale and find the cap pistols. They (the gun) are marked under the cylinder opening(where the caps went)and will be usually silver in color, with a star on the handle.
I'm sure if I am wrong, someone will chime in and tell us, but 90% sure.
Kerry
I have a collection of cap pistols. Most are in very good condition. Only have a few holsters... they are hard to come by. I am sure they took some abuse and the pistols fared better. Would love to come across some like these!
Thanks Kerry & vintage1965, for the nice comments and advice!
