Another curbside find. Dropping off my son at music lesson and on the way down the street I see two things -- the garbage truck coming and this old box painted white waiting to be devoured. I pulled over and rescued it from its bitter fate. I took off the white and then the black paint. The drill on top I also found. The stamp piece is a seal from a defunct church. The level inside was my grandfathers from Holland dated 1910 -- although it is a Stanley made in the US. The old rasp was another rescue mission, not nearly as dramatic. It is not a trunk but I do have some variance in my repertoire. Enjoy!

I never realized just how many things have crossed my path this way until I started posting them. I have many more finds yet to show you all. My home is full of reclaimed items -- indeed the end of my rainbow! Thanks Manikin, BELLIN68, jimborasco, and walksoftly.
