Nolan Ryan is currently principal owner, president and CEO of the Texas Rangers. Ryan was an eight-time MLB All-Star, and his 5,714 career strikeouts rank first in baseball history by a significant margin. A member of Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. Johnny Bench played in the Major Leagues for the Cincinnati Reds from 1967 to 1983. Bench, a 14-time All-Star selection and a two-time National League Most Valuable Player, was a key member of The Big Red Machine, which won six division titles, four National League pennants, and two World Series championships. ESPN has called him the greatest catcher in baseball history, and I have to agree.

Great items. Nolan Ryan is my favorite baseball player of all time. Only a slight correction - Nolan Ryan isn't the principal owner of the Rangers. He is part of the ownership group, and actually led the formation of the current ownership group, but principal ownership at this time is shared evenly between Dallas billionaires Ray Davis and Bob Simpson. Nolan was designated as the "Controlling Owner" of the team by a vote of the 30 MLB owners which means he represents the team at the MLB Owners' Association, but since principal ownership refers to majority ownership, that designation remains with Ray Davis and Bob Simpson.
I know, picky.. but these are still 2 great items to have!
Also, I completely agree about Johnny Bench. Probably the greatest catcher to play the game.
