My great grandmother passed away about a year ago. As in most heart wrenching situations that involve the passing of a loved one, my family and I took our time to go through the house and divvy up what was going to charity, to the garbage and to her family members that wasn't already divided up amongst us. While I was going through an old box in her closet, I stumbled upon a small, light blue Tiffany&Co. bag. In it, was this lighter. I was shocked. I didn't know my great grandmother had ever had a use for a lighter never mind the fact that Tiffany&Co. even made such items. I have looked all over the internet as well as asked around as to the value of this petite lighter as well as it's age. If anyone has any information in regards to it that could be of any help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Dont know the age but there is one listed in an on-line auction for 25 pounds (british) and ebay has one without the lid for $45. Are you just assuming it is Tiffany because it was in a Tiffany bag or is it marked? Is the case bottom marked Sterling?
It is marked. The inside part of the lighter that holds the cotton you pour the butane onto has a stamp that says Tiffany&Co. Sterling
I did my best to get a clear picture of the stamp but to no avail. It's very tiny print due to the size of the lighter.
Hi!, I've seen a couple examples of this lighter sell for between $125-200, although they were in better condition and included the original box. Yours may go for somewhat less, and as always, depends on who is buying. I don't have a specific date on this lighter sadly.
Hope this helped
