This is a Japanese traditional Kimono dyed (Wasabi-Zome) handkerchief. It is 54 cm square.
Wasabi-Zome-(Japanese Green Dye). The Wasabi dye is a manufacturing methods almost the same as indigo dyeing. It was developed in the Nagano Azumino mountain Area. Only a traditional craftsman that they can make this.

I have one question, Are these made of silk or linen cloth?
Hello. These are new, sealed in their original packages. They are 100% of the softest cotton. Most of my hankies were silk but I think I like these even better. Thanks for the framing idea.
