These are .720 fine silver coins from Guatemala. Originally these were 50 Centavos currency. These have been very carefully cut out and then the reverse side has been polished out to a smooth surface and a loop eye attached. These coins were minted in 1962-63 and made of .720 silver purity. The flower represents the White Nun (Monja Blanca) orchid. Original coin weight was 12 grams and is 30.5 mm in diameter with reeded egdes.
