I have no clue if this is a vase or a candler holder.
Does any one know who could be MB.?
Or this could be possibly be made by a
woman in the late 1800's, since I am learning it was a fashionable
thing to do back then. Thanks

Most likely a vase. Particularly assuming the interior is completely glaze. Based on the glaze and clay, it's contemporary. Likely dates circa the 1960s to present. Studio potters can be notoriously difficult to identify, unless you just happen to get lucky and someone recognizes the mark. With the lesser known studio potters, "the leaf doesn't fall far from the tree". Wares are sold locally at art shows, craft fairs, etc. You can occasionally find an ID by checking/asking local studio potters on the web or at shows.
