From Chilmark Fine Pewter."CROW SCOUT". Sculpted by renowned artist Don Polland. This is limited edition piece number 2359 of 3000. Issued in 1974. This is one of Don's very earliest works. It depicts the Crow Scout, posted to watch for intruders in the bitter cold!! He is astride his poor horse standing in the snow. Scout is wearing a bear skin coat complete with head cover.He is freezing. Very intricate detail. Piece is 6 1/2 inches at base and 7 inches tall. Thanks for stopping by. Jimbo
