I should have saved this for "what is it" but i think the 50+ group would remember these. Now i only know Sunray D-X info. & codes|tech. because dad rever threw anything out. In pict#4, (dated 1-26-1959 u see two of rhe four 10ft.,14ft. (Tidewater) & 12ft curbside poles avalable to D-X retail service stations. These lamps where avaliable for the D-30 commonly called the "I" pole, the 10 & 12ft "J" poles & the 10 & 12ft "L" poles.They mounted just below the sign cradle & where on there way out in 59 as plastic insert signs came into popularity. Sorry for the "fact forum" as no one gives a flyin *^#^. Just wanted to let Kevin know that i do know some (un-important info.) LOL
