We found these years ago in a dusty corner of our bulk plant. Dads eyes lit up! He told me to take these home & dont get rid of them. This was the mid 70s, couldnt see the big deal about these, he said these are stop light switchs for ?? cars. The ?? was because at that time old (1929-46) cars didnt mean much to me. Well, he was right about MANY things but he couldnt forsee the unbelievable amount of antique car part re-manufacturing, due to the popularity boom 10-15 yrs ago.Still, there neet countertop display items, but even google scratched its head when i tried to pull info. No idea what these are, but t'were me, I would slap one of those boxes onto ebay just for kicks & giggles ~ there are aftermarket parts and then there are 'vintage' aftermarket parts. It's a pretty esoteric field, but you could find out quickly if they have significant value ~ and maybe even learn what they are for (if you don't get any response here).
And yes, the original sales box will help any value.
DON'T SELL ONE! The whole full counter display is worth WAY more full! These displays can bring a pretty penny for people wanting a "gas station"with signs, cans, etc.and merchendise with full contents in the office.
