In response to kerry10456's recent posting of a Mary Marvel Watch, here is the boy's size Captain Marvel also made by Fawcett in 1948. I have put them side by side for comparison. Thanks for looking.

Very Nice, Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece, The Mary looks great next to the Captain. Do you have the Jr.?
Thank you Manikin, Dave, musikchoo, officialfuel, thisoldwatch, BELLIN68, Kerry and AR8Jason for the appreciation.
The Jr Marvel watch is very rare. I will keep searching and hopefully one day.....!
If you run in to two, I know someone who would like to know, LOL :-)
George, I don't know why I didn't pass this along earlier. The proper description term for your Larger sized Captain would be "Deluxe".
Kerry, I think there is another Captain Marvel which is slightly smaller, probably would be the 'Standard' model whereby the larger one is the 'Deluxe'.
your very welcome geo26e
George you are correct, the "Standard" came with choose of three different colored bands,Blue, Red and Green. The only "Deluxe" color , I've ever seen was Red.
