I don't know how this got mixed in with all my Character Watches; it must really feel out of place.
Anyway, it's a Bulova Fifth Avenue New York
The movement is marked:
BULOVA WATCH CO.

21 JEWELS U.S.A. 47
The back of case is marked:
10K GOLD FILLED
BULOVA
6427645
The inscription on the back is dated 9-21-47
I assume the 47 marked on the movement is for 1947
That is all I know about this watch.I don't even remember how I acquired it.

According to mybulova.com, the adverts show this watch as the 1947 "Douglas 'B'", the Douglas "A" was red gold, the "B" yellow gold, and a 3rd was pink gold. Very nice watch, PW.

As far as quantity, I'm not sure. Haven't counted. Kinda slowed down on buying the last couple of years, unless it is something I really want. My kids are seriously worried about what they are going to do with all my junk.
