The residence of the late Richard Jordan New Jersey JH&C (I think) are the markings. There seems to be a propeller type indentation/stamp on the back middle of the item as well.

Any body know origination/date/approximate value or if this is a reproduction of some sort. It's a beautiful platter but it seems a bit light to be worth anything (and it says New Jersey on it, haha).

Thanks!

Joseph Heath & Co. (1828-1841) pottery in Tunstall England. Jordan was born in 1756 and died in 1826. He was a Quaker preacher and one of the first to speak out against the holding of slaves. The design is made from a drawing by William Mason of Jordan outside his farmhouse in Camden, New Jersey. Made in several different colors, red being the most common, lilac one of the rarest. The impressed propellor set in a circle of dots is the Joseph Heath & Co. mark. I do not think you have a reproduction, I think you have the real thing. Even the New Jersey name cant hurt the value of this piece of history. Beautiful!!

Just a follow-up. I see some plates up for auction and also a bowl, but not any platters. The plates are estimated at $150-225 range.

So cool, thank you! Found it at a yard sale for a couple bucks. Thought it was really nice but maybe not worth much. Thank you all for your information!
