This is another 4 1/2" X 6 1/2" image mounted on larger cardstock. The image dates from about 1900 and it is period ink labeled as "No. 2".

The two dolls have paper tags with the dates (probably supplied by the owners). The large China head doll has a date of 1856, while the smaller is dated as 1846. I do not know the accuracey of the dates, but suspect it is close since these were not that old at the time of the photograph.

I really like the small doll sized rope bed that they each sit on. It looks to be perfect in detail for 1830s- 1850s construction.

Any information on the dolls is appreciated.
