This is a small brass bowl with lid that is 2 1/4" wide and 2 1/4" high with painted engravings. The design looks to be of Islamic origin. The designs' paint color on the bowl is all red and on the lid is blue and red.
I believe this is from either Morocco or Turkey and from around the 1950's era.
