This front glass came off of a pinball machine we had in my house growing up. I know its one of 2700 or so ever made but was wondering if there was any value to this front display glass? I took this one piece when we moved and the rest of the pinball table was sold.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

nice glass, first let me say i have been in to the pinball collecting hobby for more then 25 years. whitch make me no expert but i do know a thing or 2 about the games. 1 the back glass if in good shape can be worth any where from 25.00 to some cases 300.00 and up it depends on the old supply and demand game. 2 the better the paint on the back the better the $$$the easy way to find out is look it up on ebay under completed items if one has sold it will be there and that will give you a real idea of what is worth. also look up the game on one or both places IPDB OR PINDEAIDA TYPE IN TO ANY SEARCH eng. and click the link in your case stern is the olny pinball manf. that still alive you can hop over to there web sight and they are pretty good about answering emails in any case dont wait to long as they are starting to remake some of the old boards and back glasses witch will kill the value of the org but they are very collectable and if some one has a nice game with a bad glass im sure they be glad toget it if its in good shape then the price is up for you to deside on how bad they want it to give you a idea i was at a ladys house that had over a 100 old back glasses i said how much 35.00 a pieace if i want more then one good price if its nice no flaking chiping its worth a few bucks but no more then 35.00 to 300.00 on a good day hope this helps

I agree with Scott, and some people actually just collect the back glass of these pinball machines so it may be worth a bit more the the right collector. Stern was a big video game company in the 80's, I think they were out of Chicago and made both Pinball machines and upright arcade games. I used to have a "Bagman" upright by Stern until it broke (They ALL break in time) and are a major pain to have repaired! I eventually sold it at an auction along with my "Toobin" and "Burger time" uprights. They are fun to own until they break, not to mention the vast amount of room they take up. Nice find though!
