This child's seat/chair was recently purchased by my Mother in St. Louis, Mo. at an estate sale. She (with my help) is trying to find out more about it. What style/period is the chair from? The seat sits approxiamtely 15" high. There is a crack (seperation of the wood) in the center of the seat. The seat cushion came with the piece, though not sure if it is original. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
