I am convinced there is no point in collecting Tango unless it does really "stand out" either by size, shape or decor. I looked at the pictures from this UK offering and saw a piece I really wanted to have: 11" tall, with a clear/black weird-shaped trellis top I had not seen before. No pontil, as usual. I did notice what seemed to be a loss in the clear portion, but . . .
I DID NOT READ THE DESCRIPTION UNTIL AFTER I HAD BOUGHT IT!
And the dealer had been quite thorough and honest, pointing to two stress cracks. It did survive the trip and I love it, warts and all.
By the way, congratulations to all my fellow correspondents who made it into the Top 40 in terms of postings and followers. I saw quite a few familiar names and faces!
Pic. 2 shows a second variation, which I also have in orange.

An important warning, Al. I have been caught far too many times, too!
I saw that one....I've seen another similar that was listed recently too...
A perfect excuse to put it to work Al. I have my large reticulated vase here next to me, filled with silk flowers (they never die, and only need a quick shower once in a while, lol)
So it was you who got it! I was watching it, but bought the pair of identical vases that was finishing on a buy it now/best offer at about the same time. They were described as Murano, so got no interest!
I will, as soon as I am back home. Several trellis-necked vases.
