I guess coming from "the hills" (Poteau Okla.) & having two brothers & three sisters & faking his birth certificate to fight in WW2 at the age of 17, makes you long for things that (when he was young) could never dream off. Case in point: From the 20s till the 80s, the "eliete" would always be seen in a LONG hooded car of many varieties, but all new the long hood meant prestige. Well, you probably won't see high society driving cars in this condition, but I hope to get around to restoring them all.
