The October 1942 issue of "Air Progress" magazine, a quarterly publication by Street & Smith Publications, NY. - Mostly about current military aircraft and their endeavors for the war effort. Also nice cut-away blue-print drawings of both fighter and bomber airplanes and their new more powerful engines. Shown is the Douglas DB-7 Fighter Bomber and the Rolls Royce Merlin Engine. Also, a story titled 'Talked to Death' by Colonel Arthur Ennis, Chief of Public Relations Division of the Army Air Force regarding the "loose lips sink ships" message. On the back cover was another patriotic message ad "Buy War Savings Bonds and Stamps for Victory"
