"RETALIATION: Japanese Attacks and Allied Countermeasures on the Pacific Coast in World War II" by Bert Webber (ISBN 0-87071-076-1)copyrighted in 1975 by Oregon State University Press.
This is the Second Printing dated 1976 and includes a personal hand-written signed greeting from the author.
Very few people today know little or nothing about the pathetic series of attacks which the Japanese made on the continental United States and Canada during World War II. Thousands of bomb-carrying balloons launched in Japan landed in the Sacremento Valley of California alone. Others made it as far inland as Michigan. These balloon bombs killed and maimed scores of victims including innocent children. True history should never be forgotten nor swept under the rug.
