As a general rule I am not a fan of tinted carte de visite images. This one is an exception as it is done very well and captures the true colors within the photographers studio.
The image was photographed by Wright and Prescott's New Photograph Gallery of Terre Haute, Indiana and is marked on the back.
Additionally, the image was photographed at some point between 1 AUG 1864 and 31 JUL 1866 due to the revenue stamp on the back.
