The first is one of two i have of the same subject. the other is an old print from a grocery store which is in 3 parts. the two kids are the corner pieces and there is a large 'eat more fruit...' for the center piece.
the second is a large. old photo which i found at the Alameda Antiques Fair love. i think that it is a photo which has been repainted with pastels. can anyone tell me if that is the case and what this kind of thing is called?
the third is a painting by someone mario aiello from philadelphia and new york from the 60s.
the last two are hand-colored photographs of california scenes. i love hand-colored photos. they remind me of my family's lake-house when i was a kid - many fond memories of that place!

does anyone know what it's called when a photo is gone over w/ pastels for posterity? i believe that's what the second picture is of, and would really like to know what it's called.
