Here's my latest find, the amazing thing is that everything works perfectly still. Clock keeps time very well and lights up nice. Never thought I would own one but the deal was too good to pass up. Payed only half of book value for this one. Haven't decided where to put it yet but that's the easy part,,,;)

Love the sign, and love the message! That baby is in great condition Signaholic. Congrats. Wherever you decide to display, it's going to look wonderful.
Thanks Dave! You should know best. ;)
Man, what a beauty! Looks cleaned and polished. Did you clean it up or buy it like that?
When I was home during college break, I worked as a forklift truck driver for General Electric in Schenectady NY. I worked the night shift and walked home every morning around 7:00 am. One morning walking home, I walked by this old general store that had been abandoned years ago. In the front window, was this very same style Coca-Cola light-up sign. Just sitting there. So I checked the front door and it was unlocked. So I went it and took it. Also took a 50's Coke bottle-shaped thermometer right off the wall. When I removed it from the wall, I remember there was an outline of it on the wall, since it had been on the wall so long. Now that I think back, I wished I had looked around more in that store...and in the basement too. That was in 1973.
Just checked the Schenectady County statute of limitations and you're in the clear Ray... er, John Smith.
Wow thank you Ray, very cool story as well! Yeah the sign actually came this way. It's in really great condition for it's age but has a few marks/chips in the gold, I was just holding out for the best condition I could find of course.
