Containing colored maps of every country and civil division upon the face of the globe (pictured above is Europe) with marginal index together with historical, descriptive, and statistical matter. Pertaining to each, ready reference lists to the United States, colored statistical diagrams, and city maps. Also includes a concise review, richly illustrated by engravings, of the World's Peoples (pictured above is from the India and Malaysia section).
Pages 1 through 160 are all full-color Atlas Maps of the United States and World Countries and Cities.
Pages 161 through 212 include a brief historical, descriptive, statistical, and political review of the United States by State and Territory including a printing of the Declaration of Independence in its original script, the signers of the Declaration, the presidents of the United States up to William McKinley, American Statesmen, Soldiers, Writers, Inventors, and Patriots. (all illustrated with engravings)
Pages 213 through 269 is the World's Peoples Section (also illustrated)
Pages 270 through 456 is the Countries of the World - Geopgraphical positions, topography, chief products, religions, other statistics, etc.
The book measures 12" across and 14 1/4" high and although the back cover is detached, the front cover about 90% detached, and the outer spine cover almost completely gone, the pages are all still bound and are in excellent condition.
