One of my haunts here in Sydney were the Flemington markets on Saturday mornings. I'd be there before dawn and would have an expresso or two with the Italian market gardeners before hunting through the stuff that was brought in by those that scoured the streets during the week. Every once and a while you'd come across some good scissors or shears. These were the best I ever found there.
Balance.
Grip.
Weight.
Perfect cutting every time.
I remember seeing these in stores when people still bought fabric to sew at home.
I've had them for thirty years!
Still sharp, one of the best buys ever!
"Solinger" is a guarantee of quality; they are items made in Northrhein Westfalia, hot forged of the finest German stainless steel.
They are marked 11.
