This is a vintage brochure for a contest run by local utility districts in 1924 throughout the country. It was distributed through the public school systems to upper level students. All entries were to be postmarked no later than December 15, 1924.
If you can't afford the real things, vintage illustrations are the next best thing, don't you think? I love the lights displayed in this brochure. The room illustrations are also very nice and simple.

ho2... oops, better spell it all out - ho2cultcha, most brochures or printed items will show a printing date somewhere if your lucky. If you look at the bottom left-hand corner of both your picture #1 and #4 you will see the copyright date of 1924 noted so that will give you a good idea of the printing era.
This is great! Where did you find it?
i found this in the trash a few years ago - big trash night has been my favorite holiday since i was around 18 yrs old!
Good for you, thanks for rescuing it!
