Got bored today (early)so i snuck out & went pickin in the "lost world of treasures\junk". Went to the #1 storage, where there are (as we speak) still un-opened boxs (by me anyway) of "stuff" . Luckly, what doesnt interest Angie, interests me.I could tell she had picked this box in the past because this was at the VERY bottom. Its a Gen. Elec. model#7H216K Telechron variable illum. alarm clock in my favorite (Art Decco) style!! Got it home,it cleaned up nicely too. Straight to the web. , first hit was a previous sale in 2011. Heres where you guys come in, This was EXACTLY like mine, even better, sold for 74.00 with an un-believable 38 BIDS!!! "Clicked" around some more & found two more for sale right now. B.I.N. prices- 10.00 & 30.00! very same condition as the 2011 & mine. So tell me, What gives guys? Did someone find a secret stash of these & flood the market, because i know Art Decco didnt finally go out of style.

Maybe it was like my Detex Time Recorders, when 20+ years ago, I decided I only needed one and the others (over 20 others) went to several different parties. If eBay would have been available back then, I'm sure you would have seen many of them listed for sale. It's funny how several similar items all of a sudden show up at the same time.
Great looking clock. enjoy it, but don't set the alarm for early morning hours.

Thank you Dave, i appreciate your input. I guess its normal, when you scan a catagory for a couple of years, you see the same items, over & over. Then something you've never seen shows up, 10,20 bids , sky high sell price, & next thing u know, people like me are diggin our (what we thought was so-so) item out along with several other sellers. then the "fever" dies down. I saw my Champion Art Decco style clock (first time on e-bay) last week sell for 3050.00$ 33 bids. I have to admit, i looked at that clock and thought.
